WHAT IS A BUTTON USED FOR
Buttons or button plungers is a product used to direct the arrow at the time of release. The arrow will bend as soon as it is released, the button must then be adjusted in such a way that it can deliver the same compressive stress to steer the arrow in the right direction. This is mounted in the hole which is level with the arrow rest.
HOW DO I ADJUST THE BUTTON
To properly adjust a button you need some knowledge, experienced trainers know exactly how to do this. If you cannot find a solution, it is best to make an appointment with one of our expert employees to discuss this. It takes knowledge to see if there is a correct combination between archer - bow weight and draw length before adjusting the button.
WHICH BUTTON SHOULD I CHOOSE THEN
The button choice is actually not that difficult. The buttons nowadays all have the same screw thread, namely 5/16-24 UNF. There is a clear quality difference in buttons. from Beginner Buttons Like from AVALON BUTTON or very good quality the SHIBUYA DX BUTTON and of course the EXCELLENT BEITER BUTTON. The prices of the buttons are significantly different.
