Cases and Bags

Bow cases and bags for recurve

A good case or bag protects your recurve bow and accessories during transport and storage. In this category you will find backpacks, soft bow bags and hard bow cases for take-down recurve bows.

What to look for when choosing a case or bag:

• Backpack or bag: a recurve backpack is the most used option: comfortable to carry, with separate compartments for riser, limbs and accessories, often with an arrow tube.
• Hard case: a hard-shell bow case, usually made of moulded plastic or ABS, gives the best protection, for example when travelling by plane. Some models have wheels.
• Size: check that your riser (23", 25" or 27") and limbs fit; dimensions are listed on the product page.
• Arrow tube and compartments: a separate arrow tube protects your arrows; extra pockets keep sight, stabilisers and small items organised.
• Weight and comfort: padded straps and a light construction make a difference on longer walks to the range or on a field course.

Leading brands include Easton, Avalon, Legend, Hoyt, Negrini, SKB, Win & Win (WIAWIS) and Fivics. Not sure which case or bag suits you? DAS Roggel is happy to advise.
